Volume three was reprinted from the 'Philosophical Transactions of 1846-1852 with other electrical papers from the 'Proceedings of the Royal Institution and Philosophical Magazine'. One of the seminal works in the history of science, Faraday's work with electricity made the modern world possible. All folding plates are present at the rear of the volumes.
