Original 147 page mimeographed revised dialogue and cutting continuity script, dated December 1, 1970 and again January 8, 1971, prepared toward the end of production for the film ‘The Beguiled,’ screenplay by Albert Maltz (as John B. Sherry) and Irene Kamp (as Grimes Grice), based on the novel by Thomas Cullinan, directed by Don Siegel, and starring Clint Eastwood, Geraldine Page, and Elizabeth Hartman. Bradbound, 8 1/2” x 11”. With a small amount of notation on page two, else a near fine slightly used copy. The film is set during the Civil War and tells the story of an injured Yankee soldier (Eastwood) who is rescued and nursed back to health by the all-female staff and pupils of a girl’s school, where jealousy and vying for the soldier’s attentions create drama.
