Jacket creased around edges, spine faded; book is fine. Beautifully printed on handmade paper in red and black in Victor Hammer's American and Andromaque uncials at the Anvil Press. Kredel's Renaissance style wood engravings were cut for Carolyn Hammer in 1971 for a proposed edition of Andromache, finally produced some 15 years later. The wood engravings are arranged in 19 tableaus, presenting the principal characters at succeeding parts of the play. No. 65 of 100 copies.
