Very good. 8vo, 297pp, color frontis, color and b&w illus throughout, pictorial end papers, b&w illlus of Princess Dorothy (p299). Founded on and continuing the Famous Oz Stories by L. Frank Baum. The illustrator is John R. Neill. Pictorial dark green cloth cover with color illus tipped on. Title in yellow orange and green above illustration of four characters riding on an elephant's trunk. Title in black on decorative cloth spine. Pictorial cover is rubbed, with the face of the character at the top of the elephant's head obscured. Internally good, with a few crayon colorings by a young owner.
