Short marginal tear at fire-edge of title, caused by the presence on the verso of the handsome contemporary engraved bookplate of Lord Viscount Tamworth, some browing throughout from the inferior paper. Nicely bound in modern cloth with a morocco spine label. First edition and on a rather touchy subject, trying to condemn the Whigs for complaining that the Tories in office were, corruptly, over-compensating themselves for their offices.
