An attractive copy in contemporary green calf, tooled in blind and gilt, spine gilt with double labels; covers somewhat stained and spine ends slightly worn. First edition of the authors collected works, published the year after her death and with a memoir and some poetical tributes. Mrs. Cobbold was the center of a literary society in East Anglia, publishing her own work and editing others. This book includes many occasional poems from early work up to one on the death of Byron who died the same year as Mrs. Cobbold. Jackson, Romantic Poetry by Women, 7(a), identifying the editor of this volume as Laetitia Jermyn.
