A curious miniature miscellany, sandwiching proper verse by British and American poets, with purely utilitarian information. Demorest and his wife, Ellen Curtis, are best remembered for their pioneering publication of dress patterns, and as well for their enlightened attitude toward equal employment opportunities for women and African Americans. Scarce.
