Square 8vo magenta wrappers with splendid front cover by Maxfield Parrish of a shoe salesman o ffering a pair of boots or rubbers, in black and gilt. Floral design on back cover. Fine. The design of the shoe salesman is probably not by Parrish but inspired by his title page for "Mother Goose in Prose".
