One of 30 0 copies on hand made paper; the first of several facsimile editions of Renaissance writing books printed by the Officina Bodoni and one of only two books produced with Warde. Warde, an American typog rapher admired by Mardersteig, collaborated with him on this book on the great Renaissance writing master (later a printer).The introduction by Stanley Morison is printed in Warde's copy of Vincentino 's elegant cance laresca script.
