Light age-darkening to fore-edges of sheets else extremely good. One of 220 copies printed at the Bremer Press on Zanders paper. Title page, introduction, plate description and twenty plates with 615 initials for 37 different works. Pupil of the calligrapher Edward Johnston, Anna Simons designed the splendid initials which were the only ornaments of the austere early Bremer Press books.
