Four numbered pages in pamphlet format. Very Good condition.FIRST SEPARATE PRINTING OF HA-TIKVAH IN JUDEO-PERSIAN. Ha-Tikvah, written in 1878, first appeared as Tikvatenu (Our Hope) in 1896. This 1918 Tehran printing is probably the first edition of Ha-Tikvah in Judeo-Persian, and is also one of the earliest Judeo-Persian and Hebrew Tehran imprints. The first recorded Judeo-Persian book by Solomon b. Joseph Kohen, Sefed Hizzuk Sefat Ever (1918) in Tehran, contained only the Hebrew text of Ha-Tikvah. Another Judeo-Persian printing, Hayyim ben Mordechai Mores Sefer Gedulat Mordechai (Tehran, 1924) includes Ha-Tikvah in Judeo-Persian, but in a translation different from the one in our copy.RARE: Our pamphlet, having a pagination of its own, is a separate publication, and is not found in many of the major reference works.
