Denoted a "shooting script" of Stoppard's adaptation of Ballard's award-winning book, for which he received sole screen credit. This draft records that Menno Meyjes was involved at the point of the third draft, although his contribution did not receive screen credit. The December 1987 release was directed by Steven Spielberg, starred Christian Bale, John Malkovich, Miranda Richardson, Nigel Havers, et al, and received six Academy Award nominations.
