Schuyler became the first president of the Illinois Central Railroad, earning the title "America's First Railroad King." <P> An <B>Illinois Central Railroad Company</B> bond for $1,000 signed by <B>Robert Schuyler</B> as president. The bond is pen and stamp cancelled, including ink cancellations through the signature. The document is a uniform blue color; the two slightly different colors on the scan is a result of "pasting" together the two halves of the large piece. It is in very fine condition overall
