An autograph letter signed "Jno Wanamaker" to Edward William Bok: "Yours of the 23rd was in my morning mail - I have gone over it & made such notes as seem wise. The article as a whole is good & will be useful. I have added a paragraph that I think should go along as evidence of the growth. I must apologize to you for my seeming neglect of this article. You have discovered one of my weaknesses. I can never screw myself until I am forced to read any of my own speeches or any article about myself! With all good wishes... ". The letter is on Wanamaker's personal letterhead and is in very fine condition overall
