Colden was a mayor of New York City from 1818 to 1821. DS. 1pp. 6 ¾" x 4". Jan. 18 1818. City of New York. A partly-printed document signed "Cadwallader Colden". Mayor Colden paid "Richard Furman, Superintendent Two Thousand Dollars for Alms' House". The document has been neatly cut cancelled and is in very fine condition overall.
