ALS. 1pp. 7 ¾" x 4". October 31, 1859. New York. An unusual autograph letter signed "A.I. Drysdale" to the Editor of The New York Clipper: "Allow me to inform the Draught readers of your paper, that I have retired from the game, and am therefore no longer open to play any person in the Country. All my former challenges are now withdrawn." The letter has some tape stains and is laid to another sheet, but it is in very good condition overall. It has quite unusual content
