ADS. 1pg. 9” x 4 ¾”. March 28, 1721. Boston. An autograph document signed “Jona. Belcher” in the upper right corner. Belcher went on to engross the partly printed document, stating the a ship the Drake, captained by John Tucker, now at Marblehead, Massachusetts, was bound for Gibraltar. It contained 1,1716 quintal of cod and 84 quintal of other sundries. It is signed at the conclusion “John Tucker”. There is a vignette of a sailing ship in the upper left corner and the document is in very fine condition.
