A famous American author and lecturer, Keller was blind and deaf from age two. From age seven, she was taught by Anne Sullivan and they remained together until Sullivan's death in 1936. In 1904, Keller graduated from Radcliffe and spent much of her life raising funds. <P> <B>ANN LANDERS</B> (1918-2002). Landers was a famous newspaper columnist. <P> IPS. 8" x 9 ". No date. No place. A photograph inscribed <I>"To Eppie with loving memories of our visit together in Rochester <B>Helen Keller</B>"</I> in pencil in the lower left corner and signed <I>"<B>Polly Thomson</B>"</I> in ink. Ann Landers's real name was Esther "Eppie" Pauline Friedman Lederer. The image, which shows Keller and Landers standing and touching hands, is attached to a larger white board. The photo is in fine condition with very minor creases. As much fo the photograph is dark, the dark inscription does not have terrific contrast though it is legible
