Orignal half maroon cloth and paper boards with new later matching spine having tooled panels and gilt lettering. Collation: vii, 207 pp., + 5 plates. First American edition. The binding is in good condition. Internal text with some foxing to plates as well. The lithograph plates illustrate dental chair, instrumentation and other aspects of dental restoration. Snell was the first dentist to invent a reclining dental chair, a picture of which is the frontis piece.
