Inscribed by the author: "For Carmel the Jeanne d'Arc of Hollywood! From Sam. May, 1933." A play that had over 260 appearances on Broadway with Ina Claire in the lead. Anita Loos co-scripted the above-average 1935 Edward H. Griffith-directed film Biography of a Bachelor Girl with Ann Harding, Robert Montgomery, Edward Everett Horton, Edward Arnold, and Una Merkel. Scarce, especially signed. .
