First published in 1923, this is the author's memoir concerning elephant hunting for trophies in the early 20th century. Riling, 1936. Hand, B249 (essentially quoting the jacket blurb of this edition). Previous owner bookplate on the front pastedown. Paper mildly toned. Otherwise a clean soundly bound copy with just minimal edge wear to the covers and a bookseller tag on the rear pastedown. The jacket is deeply price clipped, somewhat yellowed with the spine darkened, lightly edgeworn, but otherwise complete and without tears.
