About Us
J. Tuttle Maritime books has been in business since 1980 selling antiquarian and out-of-print books about the sea, ship and the sailor. This includes books about the Arctic and Antarctica, naval architecture and naval history, navigation, merchant marine, piracy and privateering, ship building, ship modeling, shipwrecks, all facets of maritime history, voyages and yachting. We do not have an open shop but operate from our home with a stock of 10,000 volumes. We sell via our paper catalogue, the internet, by fax and telephone. We can be reached 10:00 am to 6:00 pm CST, Monday through Saturday.
