Members of the ABAA & ILAB. Established in 1986, Lowry-James Rare Prints & Books offers a fine selection of rare Natural History books and prints relating to the natural order and The Age of Discovery. Original First Edition Audubon Birds and Quadrupeds, 17-19th C.Botanicals, prints on travel, exploration and cartography dating from the 16th-19th Centuries, as well as select literature; Rockwell Kent, 19th- early 20th C. Women Writers. The proprietor is Priscilla Anne Lowry-Gregor, Art Historian and specialist in the Art of Natural History and the works of John James Audubon. The shop is open from 10-5 daily and closed on Tuesdays. We are located in the picturesque, waterfront village of Langley on Whidbey Island, a short journey from Seattle. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Pay Pal, checks and money orders. Institutions are billed to meet specifications. All orders are processed with in 24 hours of receipt. Every item is professionally packaged and shipped via US Postal Service, fully insured. We charge $10.00 ship one book, and $2.00 for each additional item. International shipping charges are $20.00 for the first item, $5.00 for each additional item. For matted prints, up to 16 x 20 inches, we charge $20.00 to pack and ship. Insurance is additional on all items.
