London: Printed for Henry Brome at the Gun, 1681. 18pp., 4to. A little dusty, but a nice copy, sewn. First edition, a different work to one with L’Estrange’s name on the title page, published for Brome the same year and titled L’Estrange no Papist: In Answer to a Libel entituled L’Estrange a Papist, &c. Halkett and Laing give the present pamphlet to L’Estrange as well, as does one of his biographers (Ketchin), but the ESTC entry suggests there may still be some doubt.... more information

Preliminaries a little spotted, but a handsome copy in the original blindstamped purple cloth, spine gilt; just a little wear to extremities. First collected edition, by the “Bard of Snowdon” and with many of the poems on Welsh subjects; the colophon declares that the work was printed... more information

An attractive copy in later nineteenth century half red morocco. Second edition of a charming and quite rare book, first published the preceding year, and set in the present, i.e. Victorian, era.
