A massive photograph signed “For Lincoln’s Inn Club with best wishes of Wm H Taft The White House April 19, 1909.” One can imagine President Taft sending this to Harvard Law School. The image was taken in 1908 by Moffett Studio of Chicago. The image has faded slightly, probably from being in the sunlight but the writing is dark and bold.
