100 FAMOUS VIEWS OF EDO
Probably Tokyo: Not Determined Silk-covered light boards. 119 plates plus an index at the beginning. We have not been able to translate the initial page which likely gives the publisher and date of publication. This copy was likely published in the late 1890's or early 1900's. The coloration is vivid throughout, plates are very clean and crisp. The artist was also known as Ando Hiroshige (1797-1858). He was one of the last of the great ukiyo-e artists.
