Titles starting with Z from Margolis & Moss

Manuscript document with the official engraved seal, signed by Lorenzo de Zavala, Governor of the State of Mexico and dated March 18, 1833. The text is a plea not to extradite the Spaniard "Dr. Jose Vicente Jova" from Mexico. The document measures 11 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches and is in excellent condition. Signed just six months before Zavala was appointed by Santa Anna as first minister plenipotentiary of the Mexican legation in Paris, and two years before he became embroiled in Texas politics. ... more information
