CONDITIONS OF SALE

All items are subject to prior sale. All items have been carefully described, but any item is understood to be sent on approval and may be returned within seven days for any reason provided prior notification has been given. Customers may use personal check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Payment from abroad may be made by credit card, check drawn on a U.S. bank or international money order. Direct deposits to our bank may be arranged. Domestic orders will be sent via United Parcel Service. Overseas orders will be sent via airmail, insured, unless we are instructed otherwise. Customers will be billed for shipping and insurance. Massachusetts residents must pay 5% sales tax. Libraries will be billed to suit their budgets. We are always interested in purchasing individual volumes and collections of books, letters and manuscripts of literary, philosophical, artistic and historical significance. We provide consultation and appraisal services and serve as agents in the institutional placement of archives of importance. For purchases from the current catalogue, we will be happy to commission protective slipcases by an expert bookbinder to suit your needs.
