1974. Fine. [LIVRE D'ARTISTE] MORIMOTO Kiyoko, artist. SANJU-SAN BUTSU. Osaka, Riichi. Showa 49 [1974]. 22 x 23.5 cm. Hand-bound western style in ostrich leather by Hirooka Riichi. Morimoto was an Osaka printmaker who handcut and handprinted the blocks for the "33 Buddhas" of the title. Designed for an edition of 10 copies, this copy is out of series. There is a small (tanning?) blemish on the ostrich leather, else fine in the original publisher's clasped case. Very lovely. ... more information
