by CHANCELLOR, WILLIAM ESTABROOK
[Wooster, Ohio]: The Sentinel Press, 1922. First Edition. A very rare study of the life of Warren G. Harding which claims that Harding had Negro blood in his family background. Federal agents are believed to have had a hand in the suppression and destruction of most of the copies. A 2015 DNA analysis involving the Harding family and the family of his supposed mistress Nan Britton which proved Britton indeed had a daughter fathered by Warren G. Harding, and at the same time the analysis proved that Harding had no African Americans in his genetic background. 267 pages bound in full red cloth. Rear hinge repaired. Former ownership signature and a few ink notes, very good tight copy. (Inventory #: 15478J)
