Unpag. illustrated promotional catalogue of modern furnishings from the Antonio Ferretti company in Milan, with a range of pieces in assorted styles shown in various rooms mostly throughout the home, including antechambers and dressing rooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, salons, offices and studies, and even some businesses, each section with a labeled tab and cardstock divider, each full-color plate accompanied by a tissue-paper overlay printed with the name of the line of furnishings, a list of pieces shown in each room with dimensions, and a list of materials used, along with a small floor plan of the room. Approximately 135 illustrations in total (first illustration lacking tissue paper overlay). Some minor soiling to margins and bumping to corners, some very minor scattered foxing, last illustration in each section with some minor rust spots to verso from the grommets of the following section's tab. Oblong 4to. Cloth, some wear to edges, repaired along spine. Milan (Ferretti) n.d. (circa 1930s). Not much information is known about Antonio Ferretti's furniture company, although there are a few extant examples of their promotional catalogue distributed at the Fiera Campionaria Milano furniture exposition of 1936. The brilliantly colored plates in this volume provide a beautiful set of examples of 1930s Italian furniture design. As of September 2017, WorldCat does not list this volume.
