Also inscribed by Elizabeth Verner to Lucy Hampton Bostick and dated Nov. 1, 1939. The slipcase has considerable wear with the bottom front corner stained. Book is in good condition, Red cloth spine and beige boards- spine ends have minor rubbing and the bottom spine end has had a sticker removed so has a light stain. Otherwise only minor wear, clean, has a good binding, "Historic Columbia Foundation" stamp on the half title page- no other marks or notations. . Good. First Edition. (Inventory #: SKU1020161)
