Advertisements printed on covers. Interesting binding: the printing of the covers and contents of both directories are vertically reversed. 2 titles on the spine, head and base, in reverse. Page 1 and 2 of the Barton directory has a vertical page cut to the advertisement with about a quarter of the advertisement missing. Two advertisements in the Barton section are printed on red paper and one advertisement printed in yellow. The text block is shaken with a few signatures (sections) starting to pull.
