no place: Self-published by the author, 1949. Pamphlet. 33p., illustrated with color postcards in a rear pocket; staplebound in stiff printed cardstock wraps, staples begun to rust, paper toned, the pocket has a quarter-inch tear where we opened it carelessly. We find three postcards numbered 4, 6 and 8, which text mentions (in reverse order); text mentions no others so we presume item to be complete as issued, if a tad innumerate. Author's accomplishments, from titlepage: Princeton '07, Stanford '09; pioneer interpreter and reader of antique oriental rug designs scientifically. Text alludes to an upcoming "Second Volume", this to describe much older exemplars; this is not to hand nor have we seen it. (Inventory #: 219092)
