Suppressed by Greene for being in his words "of a badness beyond the power of criticism" As a result only 1,018 copies were ever printed. This makes it one of Greene's scarcest books. Fade to spine colors else a handsome very good copy. Small prior owner name to front endpaper. As with nearly all copies, this one lacks the rare dustwrapper. 299 pp. States first edition and includes "1932" on the title page. (Inventory #: 24659)
