The leather binding has been "shellacked" and glued. The right front flyleaf is missing and the title page is present but detached. There is tape residue on the left edges of the title page. This book is the former copy of Attorney Julius L. Brown with his library label, approx. 6" x 3.5", pasted down on the front board. Another name label above Julius Brown's label on the front cover is Spencer R. Atkinson. Atkinson's barely legibly ink inscription is written on the Julius Brown label front cover. A label was removed from the rear board. Old partial ink inscription (not legible) on the rear cover. Julius L. Brown's name is written in old ink on the front paste down. A few names, S H Herald, M Cash, and an address - "815 Ditie St. Carrolton, Ga" written on the rear end paper. Light to moderate scattered foxing and toning to contents. Julius L. Brown was a prominent Atlanta attorney and the brother of Joseph Emerson Brown, Civil War Governor of Georgia and later an United States Senator.
