New York, 1923. unbound. very good. 1 page, 9.5 x 7.5 inches, New York City, April 18, 1923, signed "C.D. Gibson" to W.D. Moffat with an endearing mention to Mentor Magazine, in part: "...I am returning The Power of the Cartoon and have written just a couple of lines on the next to the last page. It wouldn't do, if I were to sign the article, to leave out my stable mates, here at LIFE, for so many years...I will always hold a very warm place for you and the Mentor in my heart." Attached to a three-ring binder strip; natural folds and still in very good condition. American graphic artist and illustrator best remembered for his creation of the Gibson Girl.
