Neuchatel, Switzerland: Edition Delachaux & Niestle S.A., 1929. Original wraps. Near Fine. A very sharp copy of this uncommon 1929 study of the population growth --and the increasing urbanization-- of specific towns and provinces in Switzerland. Published in conjunction with "La Federation Des Architectes Suisses", the study includes detailed maps (many in vivid, offsetting colors) of the roads, tunnels, train lines, typographies, etc. of particular Swiss regions. Crisp and Near Fine in its printed beige wrappers. And internally, clean as could be, with no writing or markings of any kind. Tall quarto, scholarly and very impressive.
