Number 1 of 30 copies done on Japon ou velin d'Arches and with three states of the illustrations and an original watercolor by Robaudi. A total of 1,000 copies were printed if all the limitation tranches are combined. 8vo. 19 by 13 cm. 302, [1] pp., full of pochoir colored illustrations, then followed by two suites of plates of all the illustrations in the text, one rendered in black and white, the other, colored, as the illustrations are also rendered in the text. With the original wraps bound into a custom full blue morocco binding done by G. Levitzky. The binding has raised bands and three pictorial vignette onlays on the binding, one of a windmill, one of a wheat stalk stem, and the last, of the wheat sprout. Ruled turn-ins, with a few floral device decorations. A.e.g. Marbled papers such as epitomizes Art Deco period book design. Slipcase with the same paper pasted down. Condition: slipcase has wear and some minor separation along edges. The binding itself has slightly dulled color on the spine. Minor edge bump. Pristine within.
