Tight and VG- (former owner name and date at the front free endpaper, bookplate to the front pastedown, very light offsetting along the inner hinges) in a bright, price-intact ("$2.50"), VG- dustjacket, with wear to the spine ends and flap-folds, and very light chipping at the tips and along the panel edges. Thick octavo, the "narrative of the realtionship between a lovely, sensitive woman and a young writer" by the one-time muse of Thomas Wolfe.
