Ex- Library copy, from Bootle Reference Library: good,with rather plain library stickers to inside of front and rear covers. Bound in original quarter vellum and thick gray paper covered boards with gilt titles and rules to front cover, which is also slightly soiled with use, and with a reference library label at the bottom of the front cover. Corners slightly worn and spine darkened. Internally very clean. Edited by Geoffrey Holme. The original color Plate 30 has been apparently removed (the frontispiece to Europe: The Ancient of Days) , but a replacement on thinner paper is included instead. Bentley, BB, 404.
