Good in original illustrated wrappers, with a pale brown water or tea stain ( 8 x a max of 3 cm in size), to top right hand margin of front cover ( not touching the cover illustration from Young's " Night Thoughts"). Also a 1.5 cm tear and a folded crease to bottom corner of rear wrapper. Vol. 1 (of two), complete in itself and covering only book illustrations both designed and engraved by Blake, is an essential reference tool not replaced by any later work by Essick or indeed anyone else.
