The legacy of Gustav Stresemann published from the estate and edited by Henry Bernard with collaboration of Wolfgang Goetz and Paul Wiegler.Stresemann (1878-1929) was a German statesman during the Weimar Republic. He served as Chancellor for a period of 102 days in 1923, and as Foreign Minister from 1923-1929. In 1926 he was co-laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize with Aristide Briand for their achievement of the reconciliation between Germany and France. Volume 1: Vom Ruhrkrieg bis London. Includes autobiographical material including on his formative years from 1901 to 1918, his 100 days as German Chancellor, his life in the public eye and as a private citizen.
