by GUERRA, Francisco.
New York:: Lathrop C. Harper, 1962., 1962. Thick 8vo. 885 pp. 187 illustrations. Blue gilt-stamped cloth. A very good copy. Typed letter to Dr. Guerra, from noted collector Marcus Crahan, laid in, regarding an auction purchase of a rare book. Crahan was a member of the Zamorano Club. He was the Los Angeles County Coroner. The opening paragraph is a bit odd: "2 November '69: Dear Doctor Guerra: After Elizabeth and I left you on the 29th October, we had an early dinner and boarded our plane at Gatwick, which took off at 11:00pm. About 15 minutes later I started to projectile vomiting in which Elizabeth joined me shortly. This continued across the Atlantic as well as the North American continent. . . " presumably a fun time was had by all.
