Professor Kellogg taught at U.C. San Francisco for more than 50 years. Truly a "working" set. The translator, Lewellys F. Barker (1867-1943), was William Osler's successor as Professor of Medicine and physician-in-chief at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
