New York: United Art Publishing Company, 1915. Hardcover. Very good. Trigesimo-secundo [12.5 cm] in decorative green boards with color stamp on front board as issued. Light soiling to boards, light chipping to spine tips; chipping and light wear to glassine envelope; interior stamps are very bright and carefully applied. Pretty little novelty book in which doggerel verses inspired by scenes and characters from Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass (with one actual excerpt, from "The Walrus and the Carpenter") flank full-color stamps after the Tenniel illustrations. The twelve stamps were originally stored in a small glassine envelope adhered to the front pastedown, so that the original owner could affix them to the proper pages in the book. (Inventory #: 52907)
