Octavo, 120 pages; VG; bound in full burgundy diced morocco, rebacked with closely matching spine with gilt lettering, new endpapers; bookplate of the Warrington Museum on front pastedown; small hole to page 43, 107, covers exactly one letter each; water damage to the entire interior, probably occurred before the most recent rebinding. The lower half along the gutter is largely free of water damage, but the rest faintly stained; top edge pages cut close, with the margin sometimes being removed in its entirety, and the page number cut in half.; title page shows more wear than other pages; Underlining or marginalia on pages 12, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 37, 44, 48, 49, 50, 51, 57, Issue with "S." before "Pauls" in imprint, but no priority has been established. The printing has a deep debossed lettering. Lacking frontispiece and Latin poems. While it has the separate titlepage for Comus (a.k.a. A Mask), it is lacking the one for the Latin Poemata.
