Contains discussion of Mormon subordination due to "contact with gentiles", including an Ann Eliza's persistance to divorce her husband, and Brigham Young consequently having a "plain talk" with the women of the Lehi community concerning "their duty in the matter". "The greater part of what he said was too course for quotation, but the gist of his discourse was to the effect that women who rebel against the doctrine will never get to heavan".. .
