A small volume of poems and stories for young people compiled by Irish novelist Anna Marie Hall (published as "Mrs. S.C. Hall") with contributions by writers such as Mary Howitt, Charles Swain, "a Little Child," and others. In addition to the engraved presentation plate, frontispiece and title-page, there are seven engraved plates by William Greatbach, Robert Wallis, Francis William Topham, and others. Ackermann's "The Juvenile Forget-Me-Not" annual series began in 1823; he has been touted as the originator of holiday annuals in England.
