Brown cloth hardcover with blind stamped borders and blind stamped illustrations on the covers. Gilt title and decorations on the spine. The cloth is lightly rubbed, faded, and edge worn. Light damp stains to the bottom of the first 30 pages. Light scattered foxing to the contents. Name of Mary E Seaman written on the right front flyleaf. Mary Gay, 1829-1918, was a writer from Decatur Georgia. She is best known for her nonfiction memoir titled "Life in Dixie During the War".
